If you have ever walked in our front door, I'm sure you have met our office manager, Shana Smith. She greets everyone with a smile and manages all of the daily activities here at JPR Trailer Sales!

Shana has been a member of the JPR team for 4 years.  Aside from keeping us all organized, she is in charge of the sales transactions, DMV paperwork, bookkeeping, finance department and is probably the happy voice you hear answering the phone.  She does all of this and manages her 2 sons (Nate & Alex), their football schedules and still has time for her husband, Dave.  Shana says her favorite part of her job is, "the people I work with!".  Thanks Shana!

JPR Trailer Sales is looking for a skilled trailer tech with experience for our high volume trailer superstore! You must be motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Salary based on experience. References are helpful.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

-Trailer Hitch Installation-scheduled appointments and "on the spot" installs

-Trailer/ Truck wiring & electrical including brake controller installation, wiring & lighting

-Packing bearings

-Suspension work

-Brake maintenance

-Accessory installation

-Mounting Tires

-Trailer Repairs including panel replacements

-Customizing trailers for delivery: may include ski guide/track mat install, E-track, wheel chocks, installing cabinets, etc.

-Cleaning & Prepping Trailers for Delivery

-Working with customers to direct them to the appropriate salesperson and assisting parts customers with their needs.

We have an immediate need and are ready to hire the right person right away.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Must be dependable and reliable

-NYS Inspectors License or willing to obtain inspectors license

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs

-Valid drivers license

-Must be willing to work Saturdays and some evenings

-Must have a positive attitude and be willing to communicate with customers.

-40 hours/week with overtime when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 to $17.00 /hour

Balancing your trailer with a weight distribution hitch makes towing safer and easier!  

Husky’s Round Bar weight distribution hitch gets the job done with a classic design with the addition of some great design features. The head design provides for reduced installation time and allows easy access to the hitch ball shank. Two sway control balls can be added easily on the platform. The unit accepts spring bars with a variety of capacities, which means you can use the same hitch head for several trailer sizes.

The Husky finish process is tough enough to handle the rigors of regular use while resisting rust and corrosion. Well designed lift bracket pivot locations and locking pins allow safe and easy hitch hook-up. The interchangeable spring bars fit on the left or the right side of the hitch head. The kit includes assembly hardware and chains.
